Sorry for not writing in French.
8 days ago we hired two bikes in Paris from Velib on a one day subscription. The 300 euros was taken from my Dutch bank account. As soon as we gave the bikes back a payment was taken from my account but the 300 euros was not given back.
8 days later it has still not been given back and when I asked a Fench friend to call Velib they could not tell me when the payment would be made. All they could say was that it may take up to 30 days to be given back to me!!! I am not a rich man and I need my money back.
I consider Velib to be a very poor service if they can take money so quickly but cannot give it back. Velib is also dishonest since there is no mention of 30 days in the terms and conditions.

I have the same problem!! I was in Paris from 15-18 May and Velib has taken off my bank accound 140€, and i still didnt get them back!! What can i do? I tried to look for Velib Email address, but i am unable to find it! Can someone please help me out? I also tried to call them on 0130797930, but i can't understand what they say, should i click "1" to get in touch with an operator? p.s.: I'm sorry i dont write in French. best regards Igor Vissner

My girlfriend has been waiting 4 months! I don't think she will ever get her money back. She paid for 2 bikes in April and was charged 300 euro. I have been calling, faxing and messaging Velib but still no deposit. They don't even reply!
